Playworker – Before and After School Club - Grade 1
Before school hours only 7:30am to 9am (7.5 hours per week)
After school hours 3:30pm to 6pm (12.5 hours per week)
We are seeking an enthusiastic playworker to run our before and after-school clubs at Chad Vale Primary School. Taking over an established, over-subscribed club, you will be expected to provide a range of fun, safe and exciting activities that will develop the children’s learning, play and social skills. Our children are well behaved, funny, clever and kind and we expect all adults to model the ‘Chad Vale Way’, an ethos where shouting is not permitted and praise is heard often.
You would be expected to deliver a range of arts, sports, drama and learning activities and provide the children with a well-liked trusted adult in the times before and after school. The after-school club within the first hour is also our ‘homework’ club so you will need to be confident in supporting the learning of children from reception to Year 6.
We will provide you with the equipment and materials required in a large ‘studio hall’ space with tables, chairs, ‘snack bar’ seating and a computer with an interactive whiteboard. You will deliver our exciting programme of activities and will be the person that our children can’t wait to see at the beginning and the end of the school day!
