Our Wrap-around Care Club is known as 'WACC' and offers high quality in-house before and after school club care for Chad Vale parents who require it on-site.

We begin the session with a freshly prepared tasty snack to reward them for their hard day’s learning. Followed by Outdoor play or fun indoor activities such as crafts, sports, a movie or numerous toys.

We provide a weekly Breakfast Menu and After School Club Snack Menu. The School has been awarded a 5 Star Hygiene food certificate with all of our staff receiving individual Food Hygiene certificates.

Introduction

On entering our Breakfast/After School Club all new starters are bound to feel some type of anxiety, that is very normal and why we recommend that an induction visit to the club in your first week of joining the school. This is where both parent/carers and child/children can attend the club for 30-60 minutes as a taster session to see exactly where it is located (Hall) and how it operates.

To make an appointment simply contact enquiry@chadvale.bham.sch.uk

We are here to help you and your child settle in! All information is provided on this page, however, if you have any questions or queries please let us know.

Always feel you can talk to any member of our team about anything, we will always make time for you.

Daily Reminder

On arrival please remember that ALL children who attend WACC for Breakfast and/or After School Club MUST now be dropped off/collected by an adult at our main reception.

The exception to this is for our Year 6 children who have been given permission to leave or arrive independently.

When you drop off your child in the morning, we will ask you to sign them IN to the club.

When you collect your child in the afternoon, we will ask you to sign them OUT of club.

Staff members can no longer sign your child in or out. The reason for this change is to ensure your child safely arrives and leaves the site.

If your child attends Breakfast Club please remember to ring the bell otherwise we will not know that you have arrived.

At the end of the school day we collect the children from their classrooms or their classroom teacher/TA will escort them directly to the Hall.

Breakfast Menu

This includes a choice a cereals, milk and juices and a special item that changes daily, including; waffles, pancakes, crumpets, sausage baps, baked beans/scrambled eggs/cheese on toast! We provide a weekly Breakfast Club Menu.

Afternoon Snack Menu

The children have a choice of healthy Sandwiches or wraps served with fresh fruit, salad and a tasty treat like ice cream, yoghurt, crisps or crackers. Optional juice or water for the children in the afternoon, our After School Club Snack is included in the cost of the afternoon club.
